Anchorage Digital Bank N.A. has released the USA₮ Reserve Report as of September 30, 2026, prepared under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ “2025 Criteria for Stablecoin Reporting: Specific to Asset-Backed Fiat-Pegged Tokens” and independently examined by Deloitte & Touche LLP.
As of September 30, 2026, there were 176,216,064 redeemable USA₮ tokens outstanding, backed by $176,877,250 in reserve assets, exceeding the value of outstanding redeemable tokens by $661,186. Approximately 90% of reserves, or $159.2 million, were held in reverse repurchase agreements collateralized by U.S. Treasury securities, with the remaining $17.6 million held in cash.
USA₮’s reserve composition reflects its focus on providing a reliable foundation for digital dollars in the U.S. financial system. All reserve assets are maintained in segregated, unencumbered fiduciary trust accounts for the benefit of USA₮ token holders, supporting the stablecoin’s use across payments, settlement, and treasury operations.
The September report continues USA₮’s commitment to monthly transparency, giving businesses and institutions clear visibility into the assets backing each redeemable token. Deloitte’s independent examination concluded that management’s assertion regarding the preparation of the reserve report was fairly stated, in all material respects.
“The United States has an opportunity to set the standard for how digital dollars are issued, backed, and used,” said Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether. “USA₮ brings together the speed of blockchain technology with federal banking oversight and high-quality reserves. These monthly attestations demonstrate the financial discipline needed to build digital dollar infrastructure that people and businesses can rely on.”
“Businesses need confidence that the digital dollars they use are backed by assets they can understand and verify,” said Bo Hines, CEO of Tether USA₮. “With 90% of reserves in Treasury-collateralized agreements and the remainder in cash, September’s report provides that clarity. Our focus remains on making USA₮ a dependable tool for moving money across the American economy.”
USA₮ continues to expand across payments, settlement, treasury operations, and digital platforms, combining the efficiency of onchain transactions with issuance through a federally chartered U.S. bank.
